Career

Sound engineer for Marc Anthony, Plácido Domingo, Chayanne, Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoe, Alberto Cortez and Marco Antonio Muñiz, among many others. Official sound engineer for Pope John Paul II's visit to Puerto Rico. Producer at Telemundo P.R. Projects in Spain, Dubai and the Caribbean, and in venues including Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall. Festival Casals, the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra, San Juan Pop, Festival Presidente and the 1993 Central American and Caribbean Games. Sound director for the 5th Centenary of Puerto Rico and for the Puerto Rico Pavilion at Expo Sevilla '92. The artist list also includes Whitney Houston, Julio Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Danny Rivera and Toto.

A professional musician since the age of nine (piano and percussion) and a teacher of music and sound. Trained alongside renowned engineer David Green (Boston Pops, Philadelphia Orchestra), with instruction in acoustics from Dr. Rokafort at the University of Puerto Rico. Eighteen years with the Puerto Rico Symphony Orchestra and San Juan Pop.

Blanca Maldonado

Director of Operations. Blanca manages the logistics behind Berty Sound & Video — scheduling, coordination and the thousand details that keep a production running on time.

Outside the studio she is a Medical Assistant (MA) at Arnold Palmer Pediatric, where she has worked since July 2021.
